I'm telling you, brother, I just got out of an all-day meeting where we're going from the abstract to the concrete... when you start to see people speaking like you and problem-solving like you would, it's quite humbling when you start to see your imprint on a group of people. I'm starting to consciously step back and let a new, shared vision emerge -- it's not me that's going to change and lead this organization -- it's a huge group of people who will push things forward, as you and I have talked about before. Frankly, I'm still a little surprised that it's actually happening. I'm using flip charts -- I mean, Jeebus! I'm an organizer now, not some fired-up voice of dissent. How am I supposed to rally against the Man if the Man is doing exactly what I want.. unless.. I *AM* the Man?
