Spanning Sync just earned me $250!!!!!
I find it insane to believe, so I’ll basically shill again, but for a blogger that has generated $14 total (and that was last week — thank you Amazon after 3 years of referrals), I’m completely floored.
Again, forgive me for basically reposting, but Spanning Sync just works.
Suzy allows me to create and manage events on her account, so not only can I sync my calendar — I can sync her calendar events, too — even the events I enter (like Doctor’s appointments for the kids and stuff like that).
Especially since I’ve been using the iPhone like a fiend for organizing my consulting, work and home stuff, I want to be able to synchronize my calendar details to the cloud. This isn’t as good as direct sync, but it also doesn’t cost me the $99 a year for spotty service from MobileMe, or having to set up an even pricier Exchange solution (that still doesn’t push).

Every time I synch the iPhone to the Mac, it syncs with iCal. iCal synchs flawlessly with Google. In version 2.0 (coming soon, I read), they’ll also be able to synch contacts, and I would expect it to just work.
