AS -

As I mentioned, I'll be posting about this ASAP (I've had a draft of it for 2 weeks now), but yes, Kiva rocks. I've had nothing but great experiences with them, and helping out a fellow entrepreneur in a low-income society has a very good feeling.

I also pitched in to the Charity:Water project - http://www.charitywater.org/ - another awesome cause.

You are right, there are plenty of places to donate, and so much good to be done from most of them. It's hard to pick, so I try to spread it around.

Cheers.

Thanks, brother. I'm just humbled as I glance at the number of people who've bought Spanning Sync off my site(s) -- I'm at $660 that should be coming in, and that's just crazy wonderful to me. That needs to be spread around where it can do some good.

I happen to like Kiva because it's the kind of good that can keep recycling -- and you turned me onto Kiva -- but there are so many organizations that could put this kind of money to use. I think come November, I'm going to share that money with the Salvation Army. I'm not a big fan of religious affiliations, but they do so much with every donation that actually helps people. I can appreciate what they do and with what means they have to do it with.

Nice idea, Aaron. I know we've chatted about this before. A bit of social responsibility, karma, whatever you want to call it, is necessary. I'll be posting something similar in the coming days around my ridiculous gains on Spanning Sync and what I feel my response should be and will be.

Cheers.
