We’re much more ready than we were last week. That’s probably insane talk considering we’ve known about this miracle about to happen for about 8.5 months. Oh well… I’m not the only procrastinator in the house.

I’ve been busy seeking out sidework to help supplement the baby budget. I took on a website for our old friend, Karl, which is like no money and the most time intensive project I’ve taken on in a while (like all projects people do for friends) — but it’s coming along nicely, if a bit slowly. I also took a meeting with a start-up looking to do some E-Learning for the military. I don’t know — I see a lot more web development and not so much E-Learning freelance in my future — if I can even keep the time to do it.

The name for #2 has started to leak. Logan can’t keep it quiet. But that’s only the name should the presumptive child be a girl. If it turns out to be a boy, we have another name already vetted and approved (by Suzy). Logan doesn’t know this name. I’m 87% sure it’s going to be a girl, but unlike with Logan, there’s been no validation of the 20-week ultrasound. Also, Suzy’s carrying it differently from Logan, which makes it suspect.

Anyway, the unofficial betting at work has that Suzy will be giving birth this weekend on or before the shower. I highly doubt *that*, but we’ll obviously keep you posted.
