Photo 142.jpg So I got two new sets of glasses, because in the past six years since I last got my eyes checked, my short-distance vision has stayed about the same (it got a tiny bit worse), but my long-distance vision has degraded horribly. Photo 145.jpg Apparently this is caused by massive amounts of computer work and is growing more and more common among computer workers. Yay. At any rate, they actually are two different frames. You can tell here because my short-distance vision (I call it TACTICAL VISION) is colored-in and I’m looking directly at you. My long-distance vision (I call it STRATEGIC VISION) isn’t all colored-in yet because the future has yet to be defined, but I’m looking forward to it. At any rate, I’m working from home since everyone has the flu, and getting used to formally shifting from TACTICAL to STRATEGIC is giving me a massive headache.

NOTE: They are actually completely different frames, but it’s hard to tell. My STRATEGIC glasses are a bit more edgy and have little tiny rivets that you can see if you’re looking at me up close. My TACTICAL glasses are stylish and chunky, but without the rivets, and the frame is slightly different.
