Phone Bank for Barack @ 6am, Super Bowl Sunday
So I need to bring my laptop and be at the headquarters on Michigan Ave. at 6am, working until noon. I’m excited to do it since I’ve never volunteered on a campaign before, at least, not on a campaign that stood a chance of winning.
On Saturday night, one of the hip dads has a birthday rout starting with all-you-can-eat sushi and sake bombs (not included) and then more drinking and bar hopping. So… while I’m sure I’ll be there on-time, it’ll be interesting to see how I fare later in the day. Hopefully I’ll have enough protein, B-complex vitamins and fish oils in my system to weather the sake bombing.

Hip-dad Graham is getting booted out of his place tonight for the Hip Mama book club (which Suzy may/may not be attending), which means we’ll put the kids down and then play some Wii (perhaps Marvel Ultimate Alliance?).
After playing Wii for several hours yesterday with my co-workers (which was a very interesting experience) and a day in which the biggest project I’ve been part of since I started at the Grange wrapped up, I feel slightly elevated.
Oh yeah, and I’m down three pounds from last Friday. But let’s not get all excited just yet. The first ten pounds are easy.
